Arun machine tools [amt] manufactures ss and sc belt-driven light duty lathe machine made from graded casting with height of centre 165 mm, bed width 240 mm and oil bath apron gear box. Five models of the lathe machine are available: model a with bed length of 1050 mm and 330 mm admit between centres; model b with 1370 mm bed length and 635 mm admit between centres; model c with 1370 mm bed length and 635 mm admit between centres without gap bed; model d with 1600 mm bed length with 860 mm admit between centres; and, model e with 1830 mm bed length with 1090 mm admit between centres. The head stock spindle and tail stock spindle of the lathe machine are nitrided and grounded with 40 mm head stock spindle bore. The spindle has eight speeds [40 to 950 rpm], number of inch threads and range is 4 to 40 tpi, and number of metric threads and range is 0.50 to 8 pitch in mm. All gears of amt lathe machine are manufactured from steel and cast iron and are shaved for smooth running while machine is operating. Amt also supplies lathe machine with norton type gearbox, taper turning attachment and flame-hardened bed-ways on demand.
